A new day is dawning
A whole year anew
What will it bring you my dear

and regrets of the past
Or focus on new things
Your light travels fast
Pack your belongings
Grab what is dear
Don’t pack too much
A new adventure is near
Let your heart travel lightly
And ever so strong
Let go of the past
Don’t hold it too long
Step through that doorway
Come on, close that door
Just mumble farewell
To what serves you no more
Look into the fields
Because the seeds you have sown
Will soon become flowers
Just trust they will bloom
That path you are searching
Is in the field that will grow
It is open for new ways
Cause a new day has come
